Klitschko/Ibragimov at The Sporting Blog

I know what you're thinking, I know. We'll talk about it tomorrow when we're all a little more fresh. I'll do a recap of the night in which I no doubt will probably spend more time discussing the Duddy shocker than the main event. Because yes, yes, Duddy won, but believe me, he lost too. Anyway, to tide you diehards over here are my posts from ringside for The Sporting Blog:

A Soviet Outpost in New York City
I discuss the predominance of the Slavic peoples at the fight and also break down the national anthem, sung by none other than Alexa Ray Joel. Dah...

Klitschko Decisions Ibragimov for 2nd Belt
A quick recap of the main event.

Klitschko/Ibragimov Post-Fight Notes
Some post-fight thoughts on the Duddy situation, the largely unreported international intrigue associated with the main event, and Manny Steward's need to mention Wlad's name with the all-time greats of boxing.

he 1st round of that fight looked like my cats fighting on the sofa. That hand slap offense/defense whatever was lame.

Wlad should have tore him up, whenever he tried to assert himself he did so with ease. To me he is still the lesser Klitschko, the big pussy with a glass chin.
