No Mas at the Golden Gloves
I just got back from the opening night of the 2007 Golden Gloves here in NYC, which was held at the Copacabana in Manhattan. It was an exciting night, some good fights, some not so good fights, a lot of electricity in the air and a lot of boxing lifers on hand to take in the action. I was there with our man No Mas Nick, who shot a lot of footage for us that we should have up here in a few days. We're going to cover the Gloves this year soup to nuts.

Large you right, Mitch Blood Green is on some Rick James, cocaine-is-a-hell-of-a-drug-shit. Not a big fan of Best Damn, but I love how they just cut Blood off and go to commercial before he goes full on into an indecipherable homophobic rant.
But I guess you'd have to be wired on Yay to have gone the distance with Tyson in his prime (Not that Blood wasn't already wired on Yay all the time). Only ever heard about that fight, never saw it, but here are some sparse highlights.

Tyson clowned Mitch Green when they fought. Tyson hit him at will and made Green miss with almost everything. I haven't seen your clip - but there is a point in the fight where Tyson just stood in front of Mitch and bobbed and weaved and Mitch must have missed about twenty straight shots. He got clowned - but never hurt. Those crackheads can take a shot, just ask Whitney Houston.
