The most underrated heavyweight of all time...

...was born on this day in 1949. No Mas extends the warmest birthday greetings to the Easton Assassin, Larry Holmes, who turns 57 today.

Knowing Larry he'll be celebrating in Easton with his family and then popping over to his restaurant in Easton, the Ringside Restaurant, to have a few with the locals. Most likely he'll drink the secret concoction that his bartender whips him up that Larry claims "keeps him mellow." When he gets a couple of those down he'll start talking about how he still wants George Foreman, how he'll come out of retirement tomorrow to fight big George. Everyone will laugh, even though Larry's not joking.
