LONSDALE LONDON

Just as Everlast is to the U.S., so is Lonsdale to the U.K., the ubiquitous brand of clothing and gear that has become synonymous with boxing excellence around the world. The name is taken from Hugh Cecil Lowther, the fifth Earl of Lonsdale, the first president of the National Sporting Club. A noted fistic enthusiast, Lowther introduced the now-coveted Lonsdale Belt in 1909 to be awarded to British boxing champions in each weight division. In 1960, ex-boxer Bernard Hart sought Lowther's permission to use the Lonsdale name for a new line of boxing gear, and the Lonsdale brand was born.

This shirt resurrects the classic 60s Lonsdale logo tee, a once and (we hope) future staple at London pubs turned gyms like The Butcher's Arms and Thomas A Becket.
